Tip: Go on Saturday for its craft market.
InlandBetancuria
The old capital, in the island's mountainous heart. Historic streets, viewpoints and plenty of calm.
Tip: Stop at the Morro Velosa viewpoint on the way.
SouthwestCofete
One of the wildest beaches in the Canaries, beneath the Jandía massif. Nature at its purest.
Tip: Access is via a dirt track: drive slowly and with care.
SouthMorro Jable
On the Jandía peninsula: kilometres of white-sand beach and an iconic lighthouse.
Tip: Walk out to the Punta Jandía lighthouse.
